Who We Are.
Why We’re Here.
We are a community of people learning to follow Jesus together and living out our faith in practical ways. We believe church is more than a Sunday experience; it’s a family you belong to, grow with, and serve alongside. Whether you’re exploring faith or seeking a place to call home, you are welcome here. We’re glad you’re discovering who we are and why we gather.
Who We Are?
The Living Word Fellowship was established in 1997 as a sovereign church affiliated with the Assemblies of God in Singapore. It is the first Filipino congregation to be registered with the government of Singapore. Before that, we started as the Filipino Ministry of Church of Praise, and we were a part of that Fellowship for eight years until the Lord opened a way for us to be an independent church body. Today, we have extended our ministries to other communities and our congregation consists of people from all walks of life.
What is Our Purpose?
The Living Word Fellowship exists for two purposes:
- to evangelize the lost (win souls)
- and edify the saints (make disciples)
To accomplish this mission, TLWF uses oikos (cell) groups and the G-12 structure where each believer is trained to win and disciple twelve others while at the same time being mentored by another believer. The goal of this vision is to make every believer a leader, i.e. a soul winner and a disciple maker. In the oikos (cell) groups and groups of twelve, souls are won and discipled through the Ladder of Success – Win, Consolidate (follow up), Disciple, and Send. Each soul won to Christ goes through the process of attending an Encounter Retreat, joining a cell group (we call it a CARE group) and becoming a regular attendee in church
